F*CK KIBBLE by a Barf diet ‘Activist’

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." -Anonymous-

So if somehow you think you are devoted to your pet, yet you pour a serving of cheaply made (though quite expensive), revenue-enhancing, addictive-flavoring additives, colorings and preservatives, sweeteners and filters, “organic made” cereal in a plate for your ‘friend’, you are a lazy fuck. A LAZY Mickie D’s, Burger King, chip snacking, soda drinking, cancerous processed fast food consuming lazy fuck. Easier is not better, more than likely the typical sedentary American like myself because shamefully, I fall under that too. Which is why, the more thankful, I am to my friend because it helps me take better notice of how mediocre and inferior of a society we have become.

Any con you heard of a raw diet is plain ignorance, a myth and maybe even a billion dollar induced idea by the corporations who fund veterinarian academies and research. I remember the first time I took Magnum to get his shots, before the fecal test came out I told the vet I was feeding a raw diet and he was such a fart, “Oh I don’t believe in that”, “it’s dangerous”, “it might come out positive because it’s not safe” but nothing happened and I never saw that worm again. All I can say is do some research, weigh your pros/cons and then decide. That’s what I did, I read a few articles and a couple of books and it just made sense to go with a raw diet. Considering all the cons which are NONE and all the pros it’s an elementary choice.

Quote…”Millions of dogs eat kibble. And millions of dogs—at least 85% of all dogs—suffer from periodontal disease by age 3 as a result of eating these processed foods (Penman, S. and P. Emily. 1991. Scaling, Polishing and Dental Home Care. Waltham International Focus. 1(3): 2-8. In Lonsdale, T. 2001. Raw Meaty Bones. pg 110). This translates to teeth covered with plaque and teeming with bacteria. These bacteria get into the gums and provoke the body's inflammatory response continually for the rest of the animal's life.”

Just like the FDA get humans sick and then profit by selling medicine for the disease causing food they approved in the first place, so is the pet industry getting our pets sick and then selling all kinds of shit to control and treat but not cure the problem at its source. Vets and pet food companies and pet industries market hundreds of products/services motivated not by the welfare of our pets, but credit card money because we are so cashless, we become slaves but that’s another article.

Back to Magnum. For example yesterday, I fed my boy raw beef liver, raw chicken necks, raw heart, raw fish heads, a raw quail egg in the shell (which he loves to crack open), sea food mix, chopped carrots, topped with apple cider vinegar, fish oil and apple sauce. When he is done I give him a carrot or sweet potato, yes raw, to clean his teeth. I feed him twice a day and I mix up all this food in small zip lock bags. I always boil water and pour in the bag to kill more germs but not the point of cooking because it takes away nutrients. It’s work alright, yet the pleasure and satisfaction of knowing I know what he is eating because I prepared it, is priceless. Best of all....it's CHEAPER to do all the above.

It would be easy to go to the store by a bag of cereal and pour but trust me, lazy people work double. So if you’re skeptical, it’s normal, just don't be a lazy fuck and dig further. Educate yourself, read some, learn some, and then detoxify your dog, and detoxify yourself too while you’re at it and see how your life changes.

Here is a list of some of the benefits of a Barf Diet.

-He will be healthier. A lot of problems will disappear and save you $ in vet bills and time. More than likely no more allergies which is a good thing when it comes to English Bulldogs since they suffer from so many things as such.
-His shit won’t stink as much (it still smells a little)
-Naturally cleans teeth - no more bad breath, de-scaling jobs, or gum disease
-The chewing, shredding and ripping involved in eating raw meaty bones aids in developing jaw, neck and shoulder muscles as opposed to the usual swallowing of dog cereal.
-Depression 2 is coming and it’s a lot more affordable than commercial dog food.
-Puppies develop at a more appropriate rate and helps avoid growth spurts.
-Mirrors what they ate before in the wild for thousands of years without going to the vet to get "de-scaling jobs" are you kidding me?
-His coat will be shinier among a lot of other things. No pimples, no bad smell, no break outs.
-It will inspire you to become a healthier being yourself.

Here are the 2 most common misconceptions about Barf

-It will not make your dog blood thirsty. Dogs have been humans’ companion for ages and although the first processed “dog food” dates back to 1860’s, it wasn’t until after WWII (according to my research, but that’s the thing do some research) that commercial dog food became popular. Dogs have always been scavengers in some way or another and eating whatever is available to them. Even the Bible (Matthew 15:27 ) states dogs eat our scraps. So if you fall for that bullshit about dogs becoming blood thirsty because of their diet then yes my friend, you are a gullible moron who doesn’t ask questions but takes anyone’s statement for fact.
-Yes he can choke on a bone but a lot of pets die eating kibble too so there is always a risk. To reduce risk feed large pieces he has to chew through and not right out swallow.

The 'Name'

I'm sure there are others dogs named Magnum, though when I named mine I was thinking .38 Smith & Wesson "Del Especial"

And the Large virility-sounding Condom,

And a Stallion,

And a Dogdge Magnum too.

However I wanted to balance out the name with some love... I know the pic doesn't have anything to do with BUT I looooove women.

So hence the name...

Magnum Love
